One of the most successful coaches in Lakeland history, April Arvan was the head women's basketball coach from 1994-2007. She finished as Lakeland’s all-time wins leader with a career record of 266-84 (144-31 LMC). Her teams made five trips to NCAA Division III national tournament, won eight conference championships, six conference tournament championships and six conference coach of the year awards. Arvan currently serves as Lakeland's athletic director.
