Lakeland University Athletics

John was a three-year starter in three sports. He was selected all-conference quarterback twice, earning all-state honors once. In baseball, as a pitcher, he was honorable mention all-American, all-conference three times and all-state twice. He was team captain in basketball and baseball. Twice he was named Lakeland’s athlete of the year.
