A four-year letterman in basketball, Mark was an outstanding floor leader and defensive player. He is a member of the 1,000-point club, and scored 41 points against MSOE. He was team captain twice and earned all-conference and all-district NAIA all-star honors. He was Lakeland’s athlete of the year in 1980.
