Kristi (Thill) Bachar is among the women's basketball program's top point guards, finishing as the career leader in made three-pointers (157), seventh in career assists, eighth in career scoring, and ninth in career steals. After making the all-rookie team and being named honorable mention all-LMC as a freshman, Bachar went on to be a two-time first-team all-Lake Michigan Conference selection (2002-03, 2005-06). She was a starter on three NCAA tournament qualifiers, helping lead her freshman, junior, and senior teams to regular season conference titles and conference tournament championships. Her freshman team set the school record for wins (26) and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
